My name is Wendy Whitehead and I have been a real estate agent for 10 years. I graduated from UNC-Charlotte in 1998 with a degree in Special Education. I taught Special Education for 11 years and my father and I ran a greenhouse business for 5 years. Since beginning my career in real estate I’ve been so blessed to have met many great buyers and sellers that I have helped from contract to closing. However, more importantly than that I’ve gained countless friendships that go way beyond the real estate transaction. I've been so blessed that after being a real estate agent at other firms for 8 years, I decided to start my own company Southern Heart Realty.

 

I have a wonderful husband and 2 children....my daughter Jade is 21 and my son Chase is 18. My faith is very important to me and treating people as I would want to be treated is something I try to show in my actions each and every day. My passion is working with both buyers and sellers….buyers to help them find the right house for their specific needs and making the buying process as memorable, exciting and stress free as possible. I also love working with sellers to help get their house ready to put on the market and to sell their house for the highest market value putting more money in their pocket at the closing table.

 

My hobbies include spending time with my family, volunteering with the church, watching sports, working outside and real estate. Real estate is truly a passion of mine and I enjoy the journey each and every day.
